Privacy Policy

Overview
Claulog is a native macOS app that reads your local Claude CLI conversation history
stored in ~/.claude/projects on your Mac.
No data ever leaves your device. Claulog requires no account,
performs no analytics, and never transmits any information over the internet.
Information We Collect
Claulog does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:
- Claulog reads JSONL files from the folder you explicitly grant access to via macOS's standard file-picker dialog.
- All processing happens locally on your Mac. Nothing is sent to any server.
- Claulog stores a security-scoped bookmark in your Mac's local UserDefaults so it can re-open the folder you selected across app launches. This bookmark never leaves your device.
- Your app preferences (display settings, etc.) are stored locally in UserDefaults.
Subscriptions & Payments
Claulog offers an optional auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. Claulog never sees or handles your payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles your payment data.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your Mac.
Third-Party Services
Claulog does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app makes no outbound network requests.
Children's Privacy
Claulog is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Claulog after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
